Companies that endorse our hydraulic and civil engineering.

4.8 ★★★★★

“The installation of the S.P.A. system at the hotel reduced chemical consumption by 60%. The automated pH and temperature control allowed us to maintain consistent quality without manual intervention.”

— Operations Management, Sheraton Mar del Plata Hotel

4.9 ★★★★★

“The Olympic pool was delivered in 14 months, meeting FINA standards. The gravity filtration system with perimeter return keeps the water impeccable even with maximum swimmer load.”

— Infrastructure Directorate, Municipal Sports Complex

4.7 ★★★★★

“The treatment plant allowed us to reuse 150 m³/day for irrigation, saving 40% of water in high season. It was key to our environmental certification.”

Frequently Asked Questions about Hydraulic Engineering

Direct answers about construction processes and purification systems for commercial aquatic facilities.

Competition pools must comply with FINA specifications regarding dimensions (50 m x 25 m), minimum depth of 2 m, water temperature (25-28 °C), and recirculation systems with a minimum flow rate of 4 m³/h per lane. Additionally, IRAM 11000 standard regulates water quality and lining materials.

The typical timeline for an Olympic or semi-Olympic pool with complete infrastructure (changing rooms, stands, climate control) ranges between 10 and 18 months, depending on ground conditions, the complexity of the hydraulic system, and municipal permits. In hospitality projects, the schedule is usually adjusted to 8-12 months to minimize operational impact.

An S.P.A. system integrates high-rate sand filtration, ozone and UV radiation disinfection, and automated control of pH and residual chlorine. This allows reducing chemical usage by up to 60%, keeping the water continuously crystal clear, and meeting quality standards for high-use pools in hotels and clubs.

Yes, we provide preventive and corrective maintenance contracts for hydraulic and purification systems. They include quarterly review of pumps, filters, sensors, and dosifiers, as well as remote and on-site technical assistance. The service is adapted to the usage volume and criticality of the installation.

Our team includes civil and hydraulic engineers registered with the Professional Council of Civil Engineering of Argentina. Additionally, we are authorized for public and private infrastructure works, and we apply ISO 9001 standards in construction quality management and OSHA in occupational safety.

Definitions and Contractual Scope

The following clauses form an integral part of any technical and economic proposal issued by Dougspoolspa. Their purpose is to specify the limits of liability and avoid divergent interpretations during the execution of the work.

1. Hydraulic Engineering

All installations are designed according to the project flow rates specified in the technical report. Variations in the quality of the supply water or in the existing network pressure not attributable to Dougspoolspa may require adjustments not foreseen in the original budget.

2. Civil Works and Structure

Structural calculations are based on soil studies provided by the client. Any modification to the terrain after the contract is signed or the detection of undocumented interferences (pipes, cables) will be considered a change of scope.

3. Purification Systems (S.P.A.)

The efficiency of the advanced purification system is guaranteed within the operating parameters defined in the user manual. Periodic maintenance of the equipment (replacement of UV lamps, filter cleaning) is the client's responsibility once the work is received.

4. Deadlines and Work Conditions

Schedules are established considering normal climatic conditions for the region. Rainy days, frost, or any adverse weather event that prevents work will be considered force majeure and will extend the deadline by the same proportion.

5. Acceptance and Warranty

Final acceptance is formalized by a deed signed by both parties. The warranty covers material and workmanship defects for 12 months, excluding damage due to misuse, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications to the installations.

6. Intellectual Property

The plans, calculation reports, and technical specifications delivered are the property of Dougspoolspa until full settlement of the contract. The client may not reproduce them or use them for works with third parties without written authorization.

These conditions are complemented by the general terms available at terms.html. Any discrepancy will be resolved by the legislation in force in the Argentine Republic.
